Earthworm Jim 3D
📖 介紹
The iconic worm hero's first 3D platformer, featuring absurdist humor, outrageous weapons, and surreal level designs on the Nintendo 64.
Marking the series' first foray into 3D, Earthworm Jim 3D retained the franchise's signature anarchic comedy while expanding the action into a third dimension across 15 bizarre, mind-bending levels.
Gameplay introduced new tools like the Plasma Blaster and Homing Missiles, alongside core moves like jumping, shooting, and a signature worm whip. Players could explore environments and switch weapons using the C-Buttons.
The adventure pits Jim against grotesque villains like Psy-Crow and Queen Slug-for-a-Butt, all rendered in the distinct, grotesque style of original creator Doug TenNapel.
Released in 1999, the N64 version included an exclusive multiplayer battle mode. Despite criticism for its challenging camera and complex controls, it remains a notable and faithful adaptation of the series' unique spirit.
