Earthworm Jim for Game Boy Advance is a 2001 port of the beloved 1994 run-and-gun platformer, developed by Eurocom and published by Interplay. It brings the original's unmistakable blend of cartoon chaos and tough-as-nails level design to Nintendo's handheld.

Players guide Jim through all five original stages — New Junk City, What the Heck?, Down the Tubes, For Pete's Sake, and Psy-Crow — using his Plasma Blaster, homing missiles, and the whip-like Snot. The GBA version remains a faithful adaptation, retaining the challenging platforming and boss fights while compressing audio and visuals to fit the handheld.

The game follows the mild-mannered earthworm who gains superpowers after donning a cybernetic suit. Along the way, he battles the evil Psy-Crow and other bizarre enemies, all while navigating a world full of sarcastic commentary, talking heads, and offbeat humor.

While the GBA version lacks some of the original's graphical polish, it is remembered as a surprisingly solid conversion that preserved the spirit of the classic.
