Shinobi (Game Gear, 1991)
📖 介紹
Master ninja Joe Musashi battles through redesigned stages with shurikens, sword attacks, and ninjutsu. Features five missions, a time attack mode, and password continues for portable play.
Shinobi for the Sega Game Gear, released in 1991, ports the arcade classic to handheld with redesigned levels and new mechanics. As master ninja Joe Musashi, players experience intense side-scrolling action optimized for portable play.
The game features five distinct missions, each with three stages and dramatic boss battles against enemy ninja masters. It introduces a unique time attack mode not in the arcade original, plus password continues and adjustable difficulty settings.
Joe Musashi uses shurikens, sword attacks, and ninjutsu magic to defeat foes across side-scrolling stages. Controls map shuriken attacks to button 1, sword attacks to button 2, movement to left/right, jump to up, duck to down, and pause/ninjutsu to start.
Though criticized for reduced enemy counts compared to the arcade version, Shinobi remains a notable retro action-platformer for its portable optimization and added time attack challenge, cementing its place in Game Gear history.
