Far East of Eden: Kabuki Klash is a 1995 arcade fighting game from Hudson Soft, spinning off their beloved Japanese RPG series. It runs on Hudson's Power System 11 hardware, bringing vibrant anime-style sprites and traditional Japanese art to arcade cabinets.
The fighting system uses three attack buttons plus a dedicated Kabuki Time button. When the kabuki meter charges, players unleash exaggerated super moves based on each character's stage persona. The Tatari System layers dramatic on-screen text over the action, recreating the feel of kabuki theater narration.
Ten playable characters make up the roster, mixing kabuki warriors with mythological figures from the Far East of Eden universe. Their flamboyant special moves are matched by a theatrical presentation that gives every bout a stage-show energy.
