📖 介紹
Art of Fighting 2 is SNK's 1994 arcade fighter with the Spirit Gauge, 12 characters in South Town, and dynamic zoom effects during super moves.
Art of Fighting 2, released in 1994 for arcades by SNK, is a landmark sequel in the fighting game genre. It introduced the revolutionary Spirit Gauge system, which became a core mechanic in many future fighters, and pushed Neo Geo hardware limits with its advanced graphics and gameplay.
The game features intuitive controls: a joystick for movement and buttons A-D for punches and kicks. Special moves are executed with directional inputs like ↓↘→ + A/B/C/D, while Super Special Moves require ↓↙← + A/B/C/D when the Spirit Gauge is full. Dynamic camera zooms during these moves enhance the action and provide visual flair.
Set in the gritty streets of South Town, Art of Fighting 2 includes a roster of 12 unique fighters, such as Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia. It also marks the first appearance of Wolfgang Krauser, the brother of Geese Howard, adding depth to the series' narrative and expanding its universe.
Art of Fighting 2 is noted for its innovative 'Dramatic Battle' mode, where two players team up against overpowered CPU opponents with unique dialogue. Its Spirit Gauge and zoom effects influenced numerous fighting games, making it a celebrated classic in arcade history and a must-play for retro gaming fans.
