📖 介紹
Discover Art of Fighting, SNK's pioneering 1993 fighting game. Featuring Spirit Gauge mechanics, dynamic camera, and 8 characters. Aid Ryo and Robert in their rescue mission.
Art of Fighting, released in 1993 by SNK for the SNES, is a landmark in fighting game history. It introduced the Spirit Gauge system and a dynamic zooming camera that zooms in during intense moments, setting new standards for the genre.
Gameplay centers on managing Spirit Energy, which fuels special moves and taunts—regenerating when not in use. The game pioneered visible damage states, like bruises and torn clothing, and includes desperation moves unique to each fighter when health is low.
Players join protagonists Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia on a quest to rescue Yuri Sakazaki. The roster features 8 playable characters, each with distinct fighting styles and signature moves, adding variety to battles.
As the first fighting game with character damage effects and innovative camera work, Art of Fighting influenced many later titles. The SNES version enhances the experience with new cutscenes and adjusted difficulty from the arcade original.
