Star Fox revolutionized the SNES library as Nintendo's first game to feature 3D polygonal graphics, powered by the groundbreaking Super FX coprocessor chip. Players pilot the Arwing through six polygonal space combat missions across the Lylat system, with branching paths that lead to different planets and varied boss encounters.
